Our Companies Core Values

These questions are around our core values, which are five statements that define how our company, and our people operate at all times. Here’s a reminder of what they are…

“We make it better for tomorrow”

We make it better for tomorrow by being open minded, interested and engaged with both our clients and our colleagues. That extends into our desire to improve our processes, the way we communicate and interact with each other and our clients, and we do all of this in a respectful and considerate manner and by just being nice to one another. This can be seen often in our clients reviews where praise and thanks is repeatedly given for our employees helpful and friendly ways.

“We are reliable and get it completed”

We are experienced and knowledgeable, we know our jobs, and we are quick, friendly and efficient. We know that our clients and colleagues also rely on our work being finished on time, so we hold ourselves accountable and do our very best to do what we say we will do, and produce what is necessary. This is why we are able to consistently provide our clients with their reports within 3 working days, something no other company can guarantee!

“We do the right thing”

By being honest and straightforward we don’t confuse and mislead, which ensures we do the right thing by both our clients and our colleagues. If something needs fixing we know that we can call it out without recrimination. We treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves and this means we can all enjoy doing our jobs everyday, with no regrets.

“We keep it clear and simple”

We all work hard to keep our processes easy to follow for clients and for one another. We break things down into clear easy steps for our clients to follow and for ourselves. We all use layman’s language and terms so that everyone understands what is being said and no one is bamboozled. Keep it simple, stupid has become one of our well known phrases at PHC!

“We are always growing”

We do this when we look for and engage in ways we can improve and grow. We are growing to provide an opportunity to all of our employees to reach their own goals. The leadership team are focused on our 1 year plan so that the company itself continues to grow healthily.

Our Companies Core Systems and Processes

Our core systems and processes enable the future progress and growth of the company. They should be simple and stackable and followed by all.

Our company needs to be organised in a way that reduces complexity and increases accountability. Too many companies fail because they stick to old comfortable ways of doing things and are unwilling to change and adapt to an ever changing market.

The core processes typically include the following:

  • The HR process.
  • The Accounting process
  • The Training process.
  • The Quality Control process
  • The Marketing process
  • The Sales process
  • The Engineer/Operating process
  • The Customer complaint process

Our Companies Scorecards and Data

Data and scorecards allow us to monitor the companies performance on a weekly basis, quickly showing what is going right and wrong with the company.

Complete mastery of our data and scorecards is achieved when we boil all the companies numbers down to a point where everyone has a meaningful, manageable number or set of numbers to guide them through their days work.

According to an old business maxim, anything that is measured and watched is improved. There are nine distinct advantages to referring to our “numbers”.

  1. Numbers cut through subjective feelings and show what is really going on.
  2. Numbers prevent and stop gut reactions to isolated events.
  3. Numbers create accountability.
  4. Accountable people appreciate numbers.
  5. Numbers create clarity and commitment.
  6. Numbers create competition.
  7. Numbers produce results.
  8. Numbers allow you to solve problems faster.
  9. Numbers create teamwork.
